I identify with Lars more than with any other character I’ve ever played. I feel that awkward, too. I feel a separation between who I think I am, who I actually am and how I’m perceived to be. It’s hard to truly connect with people. He wants to connect, but he doesn’t feel that he has the tools to do it. I don’t think it’s just me. I think there’s a little bit of Lars in all of us. —Ryan Gosling

hey so I made a comic because I honestly can’t be the only person who thinks about this

It’s an incredibly well-written script, and an incredibly well-written character that’s very complex. The script felt so natural I felt like I was reading a transcript of people talking, not like it was written dialogue. I loved everything about it. I loved that it was a movie about people finding family and learning to love themselves. I loved that it was subtly complex with this whole other internal world that was inside of Grace that I was able to create on my own.

This episode is a perfect example as to why I love South Park and the way it looks at society.

people are so quick to dismiss this show as offensive and fail to see the way they expertly tackle issues in a real way.
